Mapping Participants
- Impact Partner: Individual and Corporate Donations, United Way of Central MD provides funds to programs and services that make sure people are free from violence and abuse in their homes and relationships, for government and non-profit programs and services.
- Maryland Victims of Crime (MVOC) Fund: Administered by the State Board of Victim Services under the authority of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention (GOCCP). MVOC uses money collected from offender state court fines to develop and enhance victim assistance programs through non-profit and government entities.
- S*T*O*P Violence Against Women Grant Program (VAWA): Federal funds administered and under the authority of GOCCP for enhancing victim services that address violence against women in government and non-profit sectors.
- Victims of Crime Act (VOCA): The Federal funds are administered and under the authority of the Department of Human Resources. VOCA is allocated among various non-profit and government agencies for direct services related to crime victimization in MD.
